Adif has awarded an Enyse\/Indra Joint Venture the contract for the project and implementation of the new \u201cStation Neuronal Centre\u201d at Valdebebas, Madrid \u2013 CNE in its Spanish acronym. This CNE system is designed as the operational and maintenance centre for all stations of Adif, an upgradable, versatile and efficient technological centre from where all installations and systems will be operated at all stations existing in Adif\u2019s and Adif High Speed\u2019s rail networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This first project will see the integration of 637 out of the total 1,500 existing stations, where Enyse will be responsible for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all systems at the stations, whilst Indra takes on the Control Centre. Main systems to be controlled include Passenger Information and Announcement Systems, Telephony, CCTV, Auxiliary Systems and Master Clock. All functionalities of the CNE will be controlled from a single Operational Control Centre located at Valdebebas station, located at Madrid commuter network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This centre is one of the key initiatives of the Stations Digital Transformation Plan, which aims to provide Adif mainly with the ability and the voice to reach passengers 24\/7. Secondly it will allow to standardize the daily operations at stations; finally this will support the provision of basic services at times when there is no personnel on site. The centre will also enable Adif to provide a quick and efficient response to relevant incidents occurring at all stations. From Enyse\u2019s perspective, the CNE project matches the strategy to offer integrated railway solutions, providing complementary systems to the traffic command and control functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CNE will also have the capacity to interface with customers, operators and all related stakeholders acting in the moving frame of the ongoing liberalization of the railway sector. The level of complexity and the high degree of availability demanded will request enyse to create a stable technical team comprising experts and specialized technicians, termed \u201cCentre of Competences\u201d, associated to all phases of the contract. In all, this massive undertaking constitutes the biggest leap forward by Spain\u2019s railway infrastructure administrator when it comes to control its most valuable asset and the closest to the passenger \u2013 the train stations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
