Two years on since the beginning of the ERJU Innovation projects, the last few weeks have seen the closure of the 2004 year and a set of meetings of the working groups, where Enyse actively participates. Hosted by ADIF, the Railway Museum of Madrid was witness in October of the Mid Term Event of Flagship Area 1 (FP-1). Industry professionals and the project teams discussed about advanced railway planning, fluid multimode integration and the transforming impact of digital facilitators. Under the warm frame of the old Las Delicias station, the event offered a great opportunity to reflect on the progress and the achieved milestones of these first two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

November 26 was the turn of SNCF to host in its facilities at Paris the equivalent session of the FP-3 area. A moment to immerse in the debates about how to integrate the information about assets thru Artificial Intelligence or digital twins \u2013 and how this may improve the management of the lifecycle costs of such assets. Finally, on December 10 and 11, the FP-6 sessions were organized in Vienna by \u00d6BB \u2013 a lessons learned session, along the planning of the upcoming two years, focused in how to effectively develop a set of technologies demonstrators with the aim of bringing extra life to the European regional lines, adjusting CAPEX and OPEX. These include wireless communication networks, Level Crossings and more efficient trackside equipment \u2013 with no cables, fed thru renewable sources and with remote maintenance facilities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
