Adif awards Oviedo’s Signalling to Enyse

Enyse has been awarded with the contract for the design and execution of the new electronic interlocking for Oviedo station, along with the two-way automatic block with its collateral stations, El Caleyo and Lugones.

The contract includes the execution of the works associated to the design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of enyse’s EiS23 electronic interlocking for the stations of Oviedo and Lugones, which will replace the existing ones.

Other works in the scope of the contract include

  • Integration of Oviedo and Lugones interlockings in the new CTC at Oviedo.
  • Local Control Panels for stations and block command.
  • Local Maintenance Aid systems, integrated in the central Maintenance platform at Madrid.
  • Replacement of the existing wayside signalling with new LED-type signals and speed indicators.
  • National Digital-ASFA system for Automatic Train Stop.
  • Replacement of the existing track circuits with new Jointless Track Circuits.
  • Telecomms, including Optic Fiber network and Signal telephones.
  • Power supply for all equipment above.
  • New cabling, along with associated civil works and technical buildings upgrade.

Works will be carried out without interruption to the railway traffic in the double line, currently providing commuter services as well as conventional Main Line services for passengers and freight to León and beyond. The provided system offers a wide warranty period, based in the high availability figures given by the proposed equipment.
