Recovering our history.

Enyse is the heir of the longest history in Spain’s Signalling sector – in 1924 the first electric interlocking is commissioned at Don Carlos station in Barcelona, which at the time was the head of the first railway line in Spain.

Enyse begins to report directly to the ACS Industrial Services division from its new headquarters & factory in Alcobendas.

SIGNALING AND ELECTRIFICATION OF THE SALAMANCA-FUENTES OÑORO LINE FOR ENYSE/SEMI

Contract for the Signaling, Electrification and Telecommunications of ADIF’s Salamanca-Fuentes de Oñoro line, near the Portuguese border, for the ENYSE/SEMI consortium.

EXTENSION OF BIO-BIO TO CORONEL, CTC IN CONCEPCIÓN

Contract for Signaling, Communications, Electrification of the track duplication from Bio-bio to Coronel and installation of the Centralized Traffic Control of ENYSE for EFE.

2011

COBRA CONTRACT WITH SRO IN SAUDI ARABIA

Contract for the electrification, other systems and services plus 12 years of maintenance for the “Haramain” High Speed Line between Mecca and Madinah.

ANESRIF CONTRACT IN ALGERIA

Contract for the Signaling, Communications and Electrification of the Thénia-Tizi Ouzou line

2005

CONTRACT WITH EFE IN CHILE

Contract for the Signaling, Communications and Electrification systems of the Santiago-Chillán line.

2004

ENYSE’S FIRST ELECTRONIC INTERLOCKING IN ADIF

Approval of the first fully Spanish electronic interlocking at ADIF following CENELEC standards.

2003

SEMI’S CATENARIES FOR ADIF’S HIGH SPEED LINES

SEMI produces overhead contact lines for ADIF for speeds of 160, 200 and 350 km/h. The ACS Group and Dragados’ councils approve to start the merger process to create a European leader in the infrastructure and service delivery sector.

2001

CYMI GOES INTERNATIONAL

Opening of the first offices in America. CYMI begins its presence in Brazil with an energy transmission project in the first of the 16 states in which it is now present.

COBRA STARTS TO WORK IN BRASIL

ENYSE KICKS OFF ITS NEW NAME

Name changed from CAERAIL to ENYSE, Spanish for “Interlocking and Railway Signalling”.

1992

CAERAIL AND SEMI PARTICIPATE IN THE FIRST SPANISH HIGH SPEED LINE FROM MADRID TO SEVILLA.

Enyse installs interlockings for Bilbao Abando and Villaverde Bajo stations.
Automatic block for the double track Oviedo-El Berrón.

1988

CAERAIL BEGINS AS A COMPANY INDEPENDENT OF SICE

Refurbishment of safety facilities for upgrade to 200 km/h speed on the Albacete-Villarobledo line.

METRO DE MADRID, LAGUNA AND LUCERO STATIONS

Signaling and telecommunications work for the conditioning of the Laguna and Lucero stations on line 6 of the Madrid Metro.

MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS

Maintenance of interlockings in Guadalajara-Casetas, Medina-Zamora and Huelva Mercancías lines.

CME

Construção e Manutenção Electromecânica, S.A., CME, starts its activity in Portugal in the areas of electricity, telecommunications and industrial maintenance.

INTERLOCKING AT FGV

Interlockings and automatic block with communication of the Empalme-Liria and Empalme-Betera lines of FGV, the railways of the Autonomous Region of Valencia.

CTC CERCEDILLA-COTOS

Centralized Traffic Control on the Cercedilla-Cotos metric-gauge line.
Electrical interlocking at Aranjuez station.

FERROL-GIJÓN

Entrance signalling at Ferrol-Gijón metric line stations.
Electrical interlocking and automatic block at the Reus-Tarragona line.

ALBACETE, PONTEVEDRA STATIONS

Electrical interlocking of the Albacete station and electrical interlockings of the stations of Redondela and Pontevedra.

1963

BILBAO-SANTURCE

Automatic block installation in the 13 km section from Bilbao to Santurce.
Electrical interlocking thru single command at point signals at the Santurce station.

CYMI

Construcción Y Montajes Industriales, CYMI, starts its activities in 1962.

1960

MEDINA DEL CAMPO TO ZAMORA LINE.

Exit signaling and manual block between 9 stations plus interlocking table for centralization of point-command levers in the 90 km of the Medina del Campo to Zamora line.
Enyse’s Railway Signaling division is created as a business.

1959

CÓRDOBA-MÁLAGA LINE

Exit signalling and manual block between 11 stations plus interlocking table for centralization of point-command levers on the Córdoba-Málaga line.

1952

LINARES-BAEZA-ALMODÓVAR LINE.

Entrance signalling at the 19 stations of the single track line between Baeza and Almodóvar.

COBRA

Cobra is born with a contract for “impregnating wooden posts for lines.”

1941

DRAGADOS GROUP IS CREATED.

PORT BOU – BARCELONA CENTRAL

Command cabin with 77 individual levers – point or signal, 53 wayside electric signals and 17 point machines.

BARCELONA – CENTRAL, OR “TÉRMINO”, TODAY “ESTACIÓN DE FRANCIA”

 “Point handling station with 116 mechanical route levers, 76 point machines, AC track circuits and 58 electromechanical wayside signals.”

ARANJUEZ, POSTS A&B

SICE is founded to develop manufacturing patents and procedures in the energy sector.

SEMI

“Sociedad Española de Montajes Industriales”, SEMI begins its activities as a construction company for power transport lines in September 1919.
