Commissioning of FGV’s Talleres Machado

Enyse has commissioned the new electronic interlocking and command and control facilities for the Machado yard of FGV, the railways of Valencia’s region. The Depot is used for maintenance of the Rolling Stock serving lines 3, 5 7 and 9.

All track-side equipment have been upgraded, including point machines, LED wayside signals and axle counters for track vacancy detection. The CTC at Valencia Sud has been modified accordingly, using the same functionality as the Local Control Panel LCP – based on ENYSIC’s open platform technology. A distant LCP has also been installed in order to monitor the yard and entrance/exit stations to the depot. The new EiS23 interlocking interfaces with the ATP test track, which has been integrated in the new LCP along with Hermanos Machado collateral station.
