Manzanares-Herrera de la Mancha

The construction of the High Speed Line between Madrid and Jaén entails the execution of a new bypass of the conventional line at Manzanares station. Amongst the several works resulting from this intervention, Adif has awarded Enyse with the contract for the Design and Execution of the project for the adaptation of the Automatic Block in the Herrera de la Mancha – Manzanares section.

The project includes the supply of two new EiS23 electronic interlocking at those stations, which will also control the different blocks with their collateral stations. Trackside equipment will also be upgraded according to the technology existing on the line, incorporating folding wayside signals using Enyse’s LED technology. Networks for cables, power and telecommunications will be updated accordingly to fit the needs of the project, as well as the technical buildings and the CTC at Manzanares, which will include the new exploitation of the refurbished section.
