A new phase of the Henares corridor upgrade is commissioned.

During the outage scheduled by Adif between May the 1^st and May the 4^th, ENYSE has commissioned the fourth phase of the Project Interlockings upgrade on the Atocha – Guadalajara commuter line. This phase covers the Meco – Guadalajara section, and the main signaling system works were as follows:

• New EiS23 electronic interlocking in Meco, which incorporates the connection with the existing interlocking with Alcalá de Henares.

• New EiS23 electronic interlocking in Azuqueca de Henares.

• New EiS23 electronic interlocking in Guadalajara, prepared for integration in a later stage of the Puerta Centro Object Controller equipment and the Block System with the facilities included in the Guadalajara – Ariza section upgrade contract.

• Implementation of new Automatic Blocking Systems between the new interlockings.

• Installation of new audio-frequency track circuits and signals, that are equipped with Enyse ENYLED led focus.

The project is now entering its final phase, when the new interlockings in Torrejón de Ardoz and Alcalá de Henares will be installed.
