Replacement of Talca’s interlocking

Halfway between Santiago and Concepción, the city of Talca suffered last month a wildfire that damaged its train station and associated safety installations. Railway national administration EFE has trusted Enyse again for the replacement of the electronic interlocking controlling Talca and the blocks with its collateral stations, Maule and Panquilemo. Affected Jointless Track Circuits and Los Molinos level crossing will also be upgraded. The system will be integrated at Santiago’s CTC in Alameda station. Talca will be the 55th electronic interlocking commissioned by Enyse at EFE’s rail network.
